Health coaches often have one thing in common, passion. They usually chose their area of focus and expertise because of their own health inadequacies and needs or being disillusioned with what is going on with health and supposed wellness around them. There's much to be desired still in our health and wellness world.
One big thing needed by a health coach or enthusiast, to grow a business, is leadership in health to carry people through programs of care towards results. This is where you can come in.

Because you're passionate about your area of expertise and interest you probably already help yourself utilizing what you know to work. You do it yourself and you continue forward even if only just for yourself.
In society, health and wellness is marginalized. We're replaced with bigger, seemingly more important medical and people-management systems. With this societal setup, it's easy to lose steam about the value you bring to others.
Here's where I want to step in, because we need you! You are valuable. My advice to you right now is to keep doing what you are doing. Hold close to what works (in your health area: fitness, yoga, mind, body health, nutrition, eating, weight loss, healing, etc.) and improve where you can. There's always room for improvement in your business - systems may be one area. Systems in business, are lacking for many.
If you haven't learned about creating a system to grow your business I encourage you to.
One book I recommend reading is The E-Myth Enterprise. It speaks clearly on what it takes to effectively design and create business systems that make your business thrive. No more floundering around, even if you want to keep a small practice.

My done-for-you content for health coaches can be part of your business growth system too.
First, let me summarize what the E-Myth book lays out.
It's basically a how-to-build-your-business-for-sustainability book. The only thing missing is the 'How to market and get clients and sales' part. Most business advisors and coaches glide over the 'How to actually get new clients' parts or it could take you thousands of dollars and hours of time investment to learn it. We have it for you.
Here's some of the main points:
1. You start a business wearing all the hats

Here's some of the main points:
1. You start a business wearing all the hats
Realize that when you start a business, you essentially start an entity that needs attention in several departments - from the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and CFO (Chief Financial Officer), in Marketing, in systems for the craftsman or skilled tradesman or woman to follow, and in customer service. To begin, you often wear all of the hats (Trades woman, CEO, CFO, marketing and customer service) unless you loathe a position or aren't good at it at all, in which case hopefully you can hire or bribe someone to fill that essential role, at least for a time.
2. You're not just the service provider
2. You're not just the service provider
If you want to start a business you need to fill the other roles effectively too. If you love the service providing, but nothing else, and you have no big vision or mission with the business, it might be good to work for someone else. Where you definitely need to start is in the role of CEO. You have to have the vision or a mission when you start a business. Consider what your vision or mission is. You just need to have one.
3. Build systems for each role
3. Build systems for each role
Every role has a purpose and the steps one takes or actions one does in that role is the magic that makes your business great. The plan for each role, or actions or steps in each role, and the timing of when and how these actions need to happen make up your business systems. It's only by outlining steps for each person, or yourself in the role that you can see what works and later tell where the kinks are in the chain and thereby change things for the better, if problems should come up.
In marketing, consistent communication is key to growth - either with a partner business owner who can directly impact your business or communication straight to your clients like through email, or secondarily through social media platforms.
Emails that Sell is a content system built to help health coaches in different niches grow. You might like the done-for-you content for building your yoga practice, or fitness membership, or meal prep membership or health product or equipment-based business, or your nutrition coaching practice.

Action Steps:
So, what basic steps should your; CEO, CFO, Marketing department, service providers or customer service people do? If you had to write out 3-5?
Be sure to list the timing of the steps and the step (ie, when they receive an email from a customer, or every first Monday of the month, or when they have a new or recurring client in front of them or on the phone - they use this meeting format, they have an employee meeting, they respond with these words first - think of chik Fila saying "My pleasure" or McDonald's saying "Would you like to sipersize that?" Customer service and sales phrases by regular people.
Big Question:

Big Question:
Objectively consider, would it be better to hire someone for a particular role (someone other than yourself)?
Should this happen soon or straight away?
Conclusion:
If you didn't know about all the hats you need to wear in your business, now you know.
You can work towards a budget to hire or market yourself to get started. You can also get started with a loan so you are able to hire people from the start if you like (or need to!). Or you can simply create a system for your business to get started with quality and consistency people can trust. Add steps for all the roles, even if it is just for you to fill a few roles or all of them. Often in small businesses, one or a few people wear a couple different hats and it's in those roles where the magic of the business takes place.
